Who is behind it

Storiesaver is the work of a small independent team that goes by the tool’s name, not its own. One operator, one inbox, no family of sister brands behind the curtain. You will not find personal names here; you will find what happens to your lookups, what the tool turns down, and an inbox that gets answered. If anything here falls out of date, the inbox at the bottom reaches whoever can correct it.

What it is for

The idea is small and practical: pull up the openly shared part of an Instagram profile, right in a browser tab, look it over, and hang on to the specific photos or clips you need. Typical jobs: vetting a seller before you pay, reading a venue’s stories before a trip, filing a public announcement for your records, or glancing at a profile before you answer a stranger. None of that should cost you an account, a phone app or a password handed to someone you have never met. The tool shows only what the owner already made public and puts a download button under every item. That is the whole product.

Requests it turns down

Opening a locked account is off the table here, as it is for every honest tool. No field on this site accepts Instagram login details. Past searches are not archived, and the site does not generate pages about random handles for crawlers to index. You will not find a button that pulls down a whole profile at once. Profiles arrive by way of an outside data service; the privacy page spells out what that service gets to see.

Standing apart

Instagram, and Meta as the owner of its mark, stand apart from this workshop; neither has endorsed it or signed any deal with it.
