The tool in one paragraph

Storiesaver displays what Instagram accounts chose to share openly. It fetches that material when you ask, displays it in your browser and puts a download button on each item. Using it is free, with no sign-up. Uptime is not promised: everything depends on Instagram plus an upstream provider we do not run, so some profiles will not load, a story can vanish mid-view, and any feature might be altered or dropped unannounced. Visiting the site means you agree to all of this.

Saved files

A download hands you a copy, not the rights. The photos and videos belong to whoever published them. Keep copies for your own reference, and ask permission before you repost, sell or otherwise publish another person’s work.

Things you agree to avoid

No automated scraping, no attempts on private accounts, no flooding the site with requests, and no passing it off as part of Instagram or Meta. No using it, or anything downloaded through it, to harass, stalk, threaten or impersonate people, or to infringe anybody’s rights. Misuse can get your access blocked.

No warranty

Everything here comes as it stands. We make no promise that it is correct, complete or reachable when you need it. Within the limits of applicable law, the operator bears no liability for damage caused by the tool or by its unavailability. Any consumer right the law says you cannot sign away still applies.

Removal and changes

We keep no copies, which means removing anything happens on Instagram rather than here. The removal page walks through both ways and what happens to a copyright notice. We may revise these terms; the date at the top marks the latest edit, and any use after an edit counts as agreeing to it.
